This past Thursday, we kicked off NYFW with Cinq à Sept for their Ready to Wear SS18 collection on the newly renovated roof of The Beekman Hotel. We helped to evoke the dreamy feel of a small traveling Italian circus with our Lollipop Aerialists, Hoop Jugglers, Ballerinas and the ballerinas. Here we are on pg. 25 of the New York Daily News!
We're all mad here! What a wonderful time we had running around Central Park at Tavern on the Green for Arcesium's Alice in Wonderland themed party. Our cast of whimsical Wonderland characters brought the scene to life with White Rabbit Ballerinas performing a pas de deux through the dining room and a Cheshire Cat Contortionist lounging about the windows in elegantly confusing poses. Alice fell down the rabbit hole and spun herself around above the heads of guests on the Lollipop Lyra, while the Red Queen juggled her way through the crowd below. Guests had the chance to pick out hand drawn Flash Tattoo from our talented artist as they were entertained with wit and little slight of hand from our Mad Hatter Magician.
All of our Alice in Wonderland themed entertainment can be performed as various separate acts or curated as a full length feature show.
Frosty and beautiful, a blizzard day calls for this throwback to our Living Snow Globe at Booklyn Museum for Target First Saturdays in 2013 for the Jean Paul Gaultier retrospective exhibit. During the summer, we can replace the feathers with confetti or balloons for a mobile bubble effect that floats on a pool or glides across the floor.
St John the Divine Cathedral is by far one of the most beautiful spaces we've had the pleasure of performing in! A few days before Christmas, the IP Soft Holiday party was being presented in classic Venetian fashion, with masked guests strolling about as live performances unfolded -- including heavenly Wax-Winged Angels and four-legged reindeer on stilts -- before sitting down to dinner and a show with special guests from Cirque du Soleil.
